Born of Bread

Publisher Dear Villagers and developer WildArts Studio are bringing Born of Bread to Switch, it’s been confirmed. A release window has not yet been determined.

Born of Bread is a 2.5D adventure game that’ll have players taking on the role of a flour golem who possesses a never-ending childlike wonder and a set of odd abilities. They’ll team up with a colorful cast of characters, explore the different regions of the world, and participate in turn-based combat battles.

Disney Speedstorm Regulated Multiplayer mode

Gameloft has shared details about a new Regulated Multiplayer mode planned for Disney Speedstorm.

Those who have had access to closed beta expressed interest in a mode that was all about skill and not about how much racers have been upgraded. Thankfully, this is where Regulated Multiplayer comes in. The mode will be continually developed in the future, but we have some early information.

Atomik: RunGunJumpGun physical

Super Rare Games has another physical release for Switch in the pipeline, and we now know that Atomik: RunGunJumpGun is receiving the boxed treatment.

A total of 4,000 copies will be made. Each unit contains all current content on its cart at the time of printing, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards.

Atelier Ryza 3 trailer

Koei Tecmo and Gust have readied a new trailer for Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key. The two sides are celebrating the debut of their Switch RPG.

Project EGG Swich

Switch has been home to a ton of classic games, and that pattern is continuing with plans from D4 Enterprise and its retro games distribution service Project EGG.

D4 has previously brought back titles from platforms such as the MSX, PC-9801, and PC-8801 on Windows, PicoPico for smartphones, and Virtual Console for Wii U (MSX), Wii (MSX, NeoGeo, Arcade), and 3DS. Additionally, it is the sole authorized worldwide distributor of MSX Licensing Corporation, which holds the rights to MSX.

Atelier Ryza 3 update 1.0.1

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key, which has just launched today, comes with a day one update. Version 1.0.1 can be downloaded now.

Koei Tecmo and Gust have addressed a number of bugs including a couple that prevent progress. We advise downloading the update before beginning your adventure.

Super Cute Alien's Adventure

Awesome Games Studio is putting Super Cute Alien’s Adventure on Switch next month, the company announced today. The title is slated for launch on April 7, 2023.

Super Cute Alien’s Adventure is a 2D platformer in which players take on the role of Oozi, an alien spaceship pilot who crash-landed on planet Earth, lost his space suit, and needs to find his way home. We have more information below.

With only a few days remaining before the day the eShop closes its doors on the 3DS, I wanted to make a video to help folks make a choice on what to grab before the final curtain call.

I decided to tailor my list to the thing I most cherished about the system, its catalogue of Japanese role-playing games. It was with the 3DS that I fell in love with the genre as it became a haven for some of the most generous, polished, classic titles in the genre.
