Gyrozetter: Wings of the Albatross now has a release date. Square Enix announced a Japanese launch of June 13.

The company has also passed along new screenshots/art and details of the title – look for the latest below.

– Has same worldview as the anime
– Separate game with its own story
– Can drive around and transform between a car and a mech at will
– Can do so in fields and dungeons
– Set 40 years after the anime series
– Takes place in the year 2053
– “Active Gear Battle” system supported
– Square Enix teamed up with Subaru, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Mitsubishi
– 5,490 yen at retail or 5,000 yen on the eShop

IGN has published a new Cloudberry Kingdom preview which is filled to the brim with details and a few screenshots. Look for the content below. After the break, you’ll find commentary from lead developer Jordan Fisher.

– Infinity amount of 2D side-scrolling worlds
– “Heroes” have different abilities
– Collect crystals
– Fisher was influenced by the SNES Mario games, but often felt underwhelmed and wanting more every time he completed one of them
– Story mode has specially made levels
– Infinite and randomly generated levels in arcade and free play modes
– Free play: customize the type of level you want
– Can choose the amount of additional platforms such as clouds, falling blocks, or elevators
– Free play also lets you determine the length of each level and how many swinging maces or fireballs will be in your way
– Similar situation in arcade mode except, but can’t customize the level
– Instead beat the clock in Time Crisis or battle through endless levels in Escalation
– At the pause menu, can watch the computer run through the level, let the computer show you a path through the level or activate slow motion
– Can only use the last two options if you have enough crystals
– Some characters give you an extra ability
– Jetman: short rocket propelled jetpack
– Some characters don’t have a talent such as Hero in a Box
– Hero in a Box can’t move backwards or forwards
– Wheelie: man chained to a giant stone wheel and had a jack-o’- lantern for a head
– Each character jumps and runs in a different way
