The next entry in the Professor Layton series will be heading west next year. Already released in Japan, Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy will arrive in North America in 2014.


European fans of the Shin Megami Tensei series can now rest easy, as Nintendo of Europe President Satoru Shibata just announced that Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei IV will be heading to Europe later this year.

Who’s the publisher? Will it get a fancy special edition like the US? It’s a mystery.

So… the Japanese presentation appeared to call 3DS “A Link to the Past 2”. Nintendo of America isn’t doing the same just yet. We’ll just call this one “Zelda 3DS” for now. The game will be released this holiday.


A brand new Zelda title has been revealed on today’s Nintendo Direct.

It’s very much in the vein of A Link to the Past. The game features an overhead view and classic 2D gameplay.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons will be hitting the 3DS VC on May 30. We’ll update this post with European details later.


Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is finally heading overseas. The news was confirmed during today’s Nintendo Direct.

Nintendo will be publishing the game in the west as opposed to Square Enix, surprisingly. A release is planned for 2014.


Nintendo has confirmed the Animal Crossing: New Leaf bundle for North America (and likely Europe). The package includes a special-designed 3DS system and a pre-installed copy of New Leaf. Pricing is set at $219.99.


Nintendo isn’t just working on Yoshi Yarn for the Wii U. It’s also working on Yoshi’s Island for the 3DS, which was revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct.

Nintendo is keeping quiet on most of the details for the time being, so we’ll have to wait for more information!
