3DS

Another highlight from Nintendo of America’s press release today concerns Fluidity.

Nintendo is expanding the series with a second entry, this time on the 3DS eShop. Details and screenshots haven’t been released yet. All that’s been shared is that “Fluidity: Spin Cycle” will launch in Q4.

Also worth mentioning is that Wario Land II (Virtual Console) and Zelda: The Adventure of Link (Virtual Console) are expected to arrive in Q4.

This was included in Nintendo of America’s most recent press release, but I figured this deserved its own post.

Yes, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon has been delayed – at least in North America. The game is now expected to hit store shelves “in the first half of 2013”.

It’s unclear if this is a worldwide delay. I’m pretty sure it is though given that it could be released as late as May 2013.

Nintendo has announced the release dates for several big 3DS titles, and confirmed a few more for North America.

Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask launches on October 28. Paper Mario: Sticker Star arrives a couple of weeks later on November 11. Other important dates include Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone! (Oct. 1), Skylanders Giants (Oct. 21), and Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion (Nov. 18).

Confirmed for North America today is Crosswords Plus (due out Oct. 1), Style Savvy: Trendsetters (releasing on Oct. 22), Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive! (hitting Nov. 5).

Lastly, Sparkle Snapshots 3D has been confirmed for the North American eShop. This is expected to be available on the store starting on October 18.

The images above come from Nintendo’s latest annual report. Although they aren’t hugely important, they’re pretty interesting, and a few of them promote the upcoming launch of Wii U.

Nintendo’s annual report also contains a message from president Satoru Iwata. If you missed that, you can read it here.
