3DS

The North American release of the 3DS XL will indeed include an AC adapter. In Europe and Japan, however, this product must be purchased separately. DSi, DSi XL, and 3DS adapters will be compatible with the system.

Along with the AC adapter itself, a cradle/adapter combo will be offered in Europe. It’s currently unknown if the cradle will be included in the North American box.

Update: Bumping to the front page with even more images.

European 3DS users can download a demo for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy via the eShop. The full game launches on July 6.

The Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games Virtual Card Album app will be hitting the European eShop next month. It’ll be free, according to SEGA. Details about the download can be found in the video above.

As you can see, a two week eShop sale has started in Europe and Japan. Nintendo is celebrating the eShop’s one year anniversary with the variety of discounts.

If you live in North America, you might be disappointed with NOA’s handling of the event. The only game on sale is Super Mario Land, which can be purchased for $2.99 (just $1 off if I’m not mistaken…). The offer will be valid between June 22 and June 24.

We have a couple of extra bits on the 3DS XL for you.

I’ll just spit the facts out without any fluff. The North American release will include an AC adapter unlike the Japanese edition. It’s also worth mentioning that the resolution will remain the same as the original 3DS.
