Teyon, a Polish video games developer and publisher, confirmed today the release date and price of their upcoming WiiWareTM title Heavy Fire: Special Operations. It will appear in the WiiTM Shop Channel on Monday, July 26th, 2010 and will be offered for only 500 Wii PointsTM!

Join the elite army unit in Heavy Fire: Special Operations, an arcade shooter for WiiWare. Play challenging missions in the Middle East from the ground, Humvee or Blackhawk. You will need a quick trigger-finger to finish extremely dangerous levels.

Based on data aggregated from Famitsu/Enterbrain, the title is now the best-selling console title since Super Mario Bros. The game has surpassed the likes of Dragon Quest VIII, Wii Fit, Wii Sports and even Dragon Quest VII. To date, New Super Mario Bros. Wii has sold 3,894,356 units in Japan.
