As Nintendo continues to deliver small nuggets of information about Switch 2, we’ve now learned about its video recording limit as well as some accessibility features.
With the current Nintendo Switch, you should be aware that you can only record 30 seconds of gameplay at a time. For Nintendo Switch 2, that limit appears to be exactly the same. We can hold out hope that something like a firmware update could change that in the future, but at least at launch, 30 seconds is the recording limit once again.

When Nintendo Switch 2 launches in just a few weeks, Mario Kart World will be there right alongside it. Nintendo has now spoken about the decision to tie the two together.
In a recent interview, Nintendo’s senior vice president of product development Nate Bihldorff spoke about how Mario Kart World is “one of the most broadly accessible games possible.” Also, anyone can easily get into the game, but it also has a high skill ceiling – meaning it’s very appealing to both hardcore and casual players.

Speaking in an interview with Nintendo Everything, Shin’en CEO Manfred Linzner revealed that the team is using “completely new rendering tech” in its upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 launch game Fast Fusion.
Linzner was talking about the capabilities of the console when that tidbit was shared. “It’s amazing how much power you can get out of a device that also works as a handheld,” he said. And because of that power, we should be seeing a better looking title compared to the studio’s Switch 1 launch title Fast RMX. Linzner told us that compared to that game, Fast Fusion will have a world that’s “much more alive and beautiful.”
