Monstrum

The physical release of Monstrum, the survival horror game for Switch, was previously locked in for September 25. However, that date has now shifted, and we’ll be seeing it on October 23 instead. Publisher SOEDESCO didn’t explain why the delay is taking place.

Monstrum originally made it to Switch earlier this year. It’s currently available as a digital download on the eShop.

Batu Ta Batu

Batu Ta Batu, a colorful tile puzzle game from 2Awesome Studio and EZSD, is releasing on Switch later this week. View some footage in the video below.

Batu Ta Batu is scheduled for September 4 on the Switch eShop.

Arcade Archives Contra

Hamster is bringing Arcade Archives Contra to Switch this week, the company announced today. A worldwide release is planned for September 3.

Super Punch Patrol

Gunman Clive and Mechstermination Force creator Bertil Hörberg has announced Super Punch Patrol, a new side-scrolling beat ’em up game for Switch. It will release as an eShop download on September 17.

Piffle: A Cat Puzzle Adventure

Piffle: A Cat Puzzle Adventure comes out on Switch tomorrow, but some early gameplay has emerged. Check out the video below.

Squadron 51

The space shooter Squadron 51 has received a couple of new videos. Aside from a short trailer, we have a behind the cinematics featurette below.

Squadron 51 is intended for release on Switch, though a release date has not yet been announced.

The narrative puzzle game The Almost Gone has received a new Map Update on Switch.

Once the patch is installed, players will be able to access quality-of-life settings and adjustments. A mini-map has been added to the UI, which also acts as a button to open the main map. The in-game UI text has also been scaled up, and it’s now possible to choose between swipe and button controls. Finally, bug fixes have also been implementd.

The Almost Gone is available for Switch via the eShop.
