Yet another example of how Nintendo is listening to developers when it comes to the eShop concerns free-to-play titles.

Jeroen Roding, from March of War studio ISOTX, told Gamasutra that the current set up has teams waiting through a “review period” to push new features. After discussing things with Nintendo, however, “they are now looking into improving this process by already allowing content to go live straight away, and reducing the ‘review period.'”

Roding told Gamasutra:

“I must say they are really helping and developing pretty rapidly to our needs. For example, for a free-to-play title, a ‘review period’ on getting new features live in the game is pretty restrictive, especially with last minute hotfixes. We have discussed this problem with our contacts at Nintendo and they are now looking into improving this process by already allowing content to go live straight away, and reducing the ‘review period.'”

This is just one quote from a new feature over at Gamasutra. The full thing contains comments from various developers about the way Nintendo can help out Wii U eShop indies.

Two Tribes is bringing a new game to the eShop this year. Actually, rather than “new”, we should probably say “existing” – which was confirmed on Twitter.

The rest is shrouded in mystery. I don’t believe Two Tribes gave a clear indication about which one of the eShops the game will be out for.

Nintendo Everything has received confirmation from WayForward that Mighty Switch Force! 2 is coming to Wii U, but “it’s kind of a backburner project right now”. The studio hopes to make an official announcement sometime within the next few weeks.

Mighty Switch Force! 2 originally hit the 3DS eShop in June. PEGI rated a Wii U version just one month later, hinting at a potential release on Nintendo’s home console.

The first Mighty Switch Force!, released in late 2011, was initially a 3DS-only title as well. But for the Wii U’s launch, WayForward created a new version subtitled “Hyper Drive Edition”.

In the UK, Pokemon Rumble U will cost £13.49 – so says a listing on the eShop. A $17.99 price point was previously confirmed for the US release.

Pokemon Rumble U launches this coming Thursday in Europe. North America will be getting the game on August 29.
