In January, Nintendo came across issues with a US trademark for The Wonderful 101. It conflicts slightly with DIRECTV, as the satellite service company previously registered “The 101”.

It’s sounding like this won’t be too big of a deal at the end of the day, so there’s no need to worry about the game’s release.

Two new character skins were announced for Batman: Arkham Origins during a San Diego Comic-Con panel today.

Warner Bros. Montreal will be including “Batman One Million” and “Worst Nightmare Batman” skins. The latter will be unlocked after players have “drained the game of content” and cleared all achievements. How that works in the Wii U version is unclear.

The Worst Nightmare Batman skin will be available for those who are “absolute masters” of the game, according to WB Games Montreal’s Eric Holmes.

Later in the panel, Holmes teased the presence of Batgirl, noting that fans will simply have to wait and play the game to see how Batgirl might be handled. Robin is unlikely to appear given how Origins’ timeline takes place before he exists.

Warner Bros. announced a new assassin for Batman: Arkham Origins during a Comic-Con panel today. Copperhead will be joining the game, it has been confirmed.

Just to clarify, this will be the new version of Copperhead – the female villain that appeared in The New 52.

A number of assassins were previously revealed. Deathstroke, Deadshot, and Bane will be joining Copperhead and four others in Batman: Arkham Origins.

Shigeru Miyamoto recently conducted an interview with Japanese publication 4Gamer. Bits and pieces have emerged since then, but a full translation hasn’t made its way online.

Thankfully, one fan has now painstakingly translated the first portion of 4Gamer’s interview. You can find the full thing here. Get ready for a whole bunch of Pikmin 3 talk!

Wii U games have barely made a dent in Ubisoft’s total sales for the past few months. Across April, May, and June, the console contributed to just 3% of the publisher’s sales.

Despite this, Ubisoft still has a lot of content coming to Wii U. Rayman Legends, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and Watch_Dogs will all be available for the console before year’s end.

Ubisoft no doubt has high expectations for Watch_Dogs, the publisher’s next major franchise.

Speaking during a financial call today, one Ubisoft director said that the company believes the game can surpass Assassin’s Creed, which sold 6.2 million units.

Here’s the quote in full:

“What is true is that three months ago when we announced our results, we were kind of referencing that we, in our plan, we had built up Watch Dogs with expectation slightly below what Assassin’s Creed 1 did when it was first released–and it was 6.2 million. So after E3, what we said today was that we do feel that we can expect…slightly above the 6.2 million that Assassin’s Creed did.”
