Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut is now coming to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Mac. The news was announced during a GameSpot stage show just a short while ago.
Square Enix previously announced Director’s Cut for Wii U, but hinted that other platforms could be getting in on the action in the future. The additional platform confirmations probably came sooner than most anticipated.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut will be available later this year.

Why Nintendo didn’t make Mario Galaxy 3, using past Mario ideas

The Wii brought us two outstanding Super Mario Galaxy games. Nintendo could have chosen to continue the series on Wii U, but decided to bring along something that is more reminiscent of Super Mario 3D Land than anything else.
Producer Yoshiaki Koizumi and director Koichi Hayashida explained to IGN that it came down to the idea of Super Mario 3D World’s concentration in its simultaneous 4-player local multiplayer. While making Super Mario 3D Land, the team thought that adding multiplayer would be fantastic, but this element wasn’t included in the final product. The team thought that it could leverage the Wii U’s power to bring its multiplayer ideas to light.
In Super Mario 3D World, fans can expect familiar elements from classic games, such as Princess Peach’s floating ability from Super Mario Bros. 2 and the more far-out level design ideas and collectible green stars from Galaxy.
Since Princess Peach is playable in Super Mario 3D World, she can’t be kidnapped. Nintendo won’t say who the victim is this time, so we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for further details.
