Retailers list $40 price point for Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures

Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures appears to be getting a budget release, which is probably for the best. Retailers such as Amazon and Best Buy are listing a $39.99 price point for all versions of the game – including the 3DS edition.
Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures should be out this fall. When Namco Bandai shares a more specific date, we’ll be sure to let you know.
Intelligent Systems keeping quiet on mainline HD Fire Emblem and new Advance Wars, talks series’ differences
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, General Nintendo, News, Wii U | 1 Comment
There hasn’t been a mainline Fire Emblem game on a Nintendo console since Radiant Dawn for Wii. Keeping the franchise’s console origins in mind, could we see a new entry for Wii U?
Intelligent Systems wouldn’t say. The studio would only tell ONM:
“I’m glad you seem to be interested in an HD Fire Emblem, but unfortunately at the current time I can’t make any comments about any future games. Thank you for your understanding.”
Intelligent Systems’ Kouhei Maeda was similarly quiet when asked about a new Advance Wars:
“Whether or not we have plans to bring out a new entry in the Advance Wars series is a secret.”
Rumor: All three of Nintendo’s exclusive Sonic games due out this year

Nintendo has a deal in place with SEGA for three Sonic titles. Two have been revealed thus far: Sonic Lost World and Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. These games, along with a third unannounced project, are allegedly launching this year.
In a press release covering the recent Sonic Lost World news, Nintendo of Germany stated:
“Today, they (Sega) revealed further details of the second of three titles, which the two companies will release exclusively on Wii U and 3DS. All three games will be released this year.”
I’m having a difficult time believing this. Mario & Sonic seems like a game suited for 2014, and we have yet to see the third Sonic game. Stranger things have happened, though!

Kamiya tweet: Bayonetta 2 will be on E3 2013 Nintendo Direct
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 0 comments
Hideki Kamiya has kind of, sort of confirmed what was widely expected. On Twitter, Kamiya said that Bayonetta 2 will be shown during Nintendo’s E3 2013 Nintendo Direct.
Next week…in Ninty Direct… RT @cptwigglefuffle: Is Bayonetta 2 going to be in the new Nintendo Direct?
— ???? Hideki Kamiya (@PG_kamiya) June 1, 2013
Kamiya tends to troll the folks he talks to on Twitter. You’ll usually see him writing things like “Next week…in game magazines…” when fans ask him when Bayonetta 2 will be shown – and he often successfully tricks people! In any case, even if Kamiya was somehow trolling this time around, pretty much everyone is counting on Bayonetta 2 being shown on the upcoming Nintendo Direct in some form.

Amazon: 007 Legends for $18

Amazon is selling 007 Legends for just $17.98 through a third-party seller. It’s a significant drop from the original $60 price point. 007 Legends may be far from the Wii U’s best game, but if you’re looking to fill up your library, you may want to consider this one.
Level up the easy way in Dragon Quest X with $1,000 PC
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii, Wii U | 0 comments
A new PC is surfacing on auction sites that allows Dragon Quest X players to quickly level up. The hardware possesses a special macro that puts your character on autopilot for a few days. It does the work for you… cheating, essentially.
Here’s the crazy part about this: the PC is going for $1,000. Some Japanese Dragon Quest X users have already purchased and used it just to level up their characters.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t ever see myself spending $1,000 on a game like that.
Character silhouettes from Nintendo’s E3 2013 site

When you refresh Nintendo’s E3 site, a new character silhouette appears. It’s not too big of a deal since they’re images we’ve already seen before – Pikmin, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, Wind Waker, and Super Mario Galaxy art. Still, some of you may want to have a look.
