RUMOR: Black Ops 2 Wii U will support DLC, no Nuketown 2025

Likelihood? Very likely.
It seems likely in and of itself, but the first unofficial confirmation that the Wii U version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will support downloadable content is coming from a Youtube user who claims to have gotten a copy of the game early. Sure, he’s unable to play it, but he says that the back of the box notes support for “add-on content”, as well as leaderboards, voice chat, and online multiplayer.
One thing is doesn’t support, once again according to this Youtuber, is the bonus map “Nuketown 2025”, which PS360/PC users get if they buy the game on day one. At least, it doesn’t make mention of it on the box.
I’m not so sure either of these would be a shock to anyone– in fact I think we’d be more surprised at a lack thereof with DLC– but it’s nice to have SOME sort of confirmation.
In other news, that Wii U box looks nice. I love the blue. :9
Wii U has an “automatic shutoff” feature, can be adjusted

When playing the Wii U for the first time, you should be aware of the console’s “automatic shutoff” feature. This appears to be enabled from the start.
If you don’t adjust the setting, your Wii U will turn off “if there has been no input for a set period of time” – including pause time while playing a game. It’s automatically set to shut down after an hour, it seems.
You can change the setting in the system options. It’s possible to turn it off completely, or adjust the amount of “idle time” before the system shuts down.

Black Ops II YouTube streaming not available for Wii U, maybe later
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 0 comments
All of the sudden, there are a number of uncertainties surrounding the Wii U version of Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The game’s season pass won’t be available on the console – at least not right away since Activision is evaluating the situation with Nintendo – and now the newly announced YouTube streaming feature also won’t be on Wii U “at this time”.
The one decent piece of news concerns the possibility of adding the functionality sometime down the road. An Activision representative said YouTube streaming could come to Wii U in the form of a “future update”:
“Wii U will not have this feature at this time, but it is being evaluated for a future update.”
