This week’s Famitsu scans are now available. Highlighted games include Devil’s Third, Dragon Quest VIII, Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Airou Village DX, Monster Hunter X, and Monster Strike. Scans of each title can be found in the gallery below.

The Japanese Super Mario Maker website contains a few additional details about the game.

First, when it comes to Super Mario Maker’s download, the file size will be 1.4 GB. Save files are 80 MB, and you can have one for each Wii U user.

Super Mario Maker will be compatible with a whole bunch of controllers. In addition to the GamePad, players can use the Wii U Pro Controller, Wii Remote, and Classic Controller.

One last interesting tidbit: it’s possible to save up to 120 courses in Super Mario Maker.

Xenoblade Chronicles X will be making its playable debut in Europe next week. On Twitter, Nintendo announced that the game is going to be available for attendees to try out. We’ll be seeing the RPG in both North America and Europe this December.

Nintendo recently announced a Super Mario Maker Wii U bundle for Europe. The same can now be said of Japan.

Nintendo has two Super Mario Maker Wii U bundles planned for Japan. They’re essentially the same, but one comes with one of the 8-bit Super Mario amiibo.

Nintendo opened the official Japanese website for Super Mario Maker today. Thanks to information included on the page, we have additional details about how amiibo works in the game.

Super Mario Maker will support over 99 amiibo costumes. With the exception of the Mii fighters, there will be compatibility for every figure, including Pokemon, Chibi-Robo, and some of the Animal Crossing cards.

We have one other important tidbit as well: players will be able to obtain the various costumes without amiibo. It’s possible to earn them by playing through the 100 Mario Challenge.
