Gamers keeping track of The Conduit know that the title will support 16 players online and will support modes such as Deathmatch. However, High Voltage Software has yet to reveal how many multiplayer modes will actually be present in the game. However, a rumor has surfaced which gives insight regarding how many modes should be expected.
The following translated information was posted in a recent MeriStation article/preview about the The Conduit:
The multiplayer games via the Wii’s online is key for The Conduit. Players will find a wide range of options for play and access to an automatic searching system for games. In total, there will be 16 players online simultaneously and seven modes of different games, among them “Deathmatch” and “Capture the Flag.”
“The system of matchmaking continues its development and we are very happy with it’s evolution. Now we are introducing more content in multiplayer to extend playability and its duration.” – development team
Regardless of the validity of these details, it is expected that an official press release from SEGA will explain all of the game’s online capabilities in the near future.

SEGA: MadWorld sales encouraging, House of the Dead doing well
Posted on 15 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 7 Comments
It appears as though the both MadWorld and House of the Dead: Overkill may be performing better than originally anticipated. Overkill sold just 45,000 units in February according to NPD numbers and MadWorld was absent from various sales charts, leading many to believe that both games were falling short. However, Sean Ratcliffe, vice president of marketing at Sega of America, has confirmed otherwise.
“House of the Dead has done very well and has absolutely met our expectations. The first set of data for Mad World is very encouraging, as well…If it resonates with the audience, yes, we absolutely want to make that into a franchise [MadWorld]. I think it’s unique, and there are many aspects of that game which are sort of pushing boundaries. And it’s just great fun.”

DK Games Equilibrio Now Available on WiiWare

Gripping, Gyrating Ball Puzzler That Tests the Old Grey Matter played with either the Wii Remote or Wii Balance Board Now Available on WiiWare
PARIS, FRANCE – April 6, 2009 – DK Games an independent premier video game developer, announced announced that Equilibrio a new mesmerizing and gripping, gyrating ball puzzle solving and manipulation game is now available throughout the Americas on WiiWare™.
Set in a colorful world, the challenge may look simple but Equilibrio tests not only your reflexes but the old gray matter. The basic concept of getting your ball to the exit pod to finish the level is turned upside down, as you use your Wii Remote™ or Wii Balance Board™, to rotate the play area varying degrees in either direction. Players skillfully move the spinning ball through corridors, along ledges that are fraught with dangers to complete levels. Move the ball too fast and it can shatter, leaving you to pick up the pieces and restart the level. Go too slow and the ‘equilibrio’ of the ball will not be powerful enough to spring to the desired spot.
