The Last Story details, more videos on the way
Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 0 comments
This information comes from The Last Story director Hironobu Sakaguchi…
Details
– Dolby Pro Logic II compatible
– Go to the options menu and choose from mono, stereo and DPLII
– Switch the button to either up or down for command mode
– Girls with small hands in the Mario Club tested the game, which was why the down key is included
– Map objects that are destroyed are automatically repaired
– Sakaguchi advises fans think of the objects as attack gimmicks, not background elements
– “Pointer” lines for enemy targeting can be changed to off, show only when Elza has executed his Gathering move, show always, show pointers for enemies and allies
– Magic Circles can be spread through jump slash and vertical slash (non magic-based characters can spread it also)
– 16 save slots
– “chuudan save” feature: Auto saved, starts back at the previous load point, used when you want to stop play and come back alter
– No Wiimote shake controls
– Control options automatically switched when using the Classic controller
– Camera control with the right stick
– Can flip the camera controls around
– Sakaguchi says the Wiimote and Classic Controller options are basically the same, so it will come down to personal preference
– Sakaguchi enjoys playing with his LEGO Wiimote/nunchuck
– Set your name using up to 8 alphabetic characters for multiplayer
– Game doesn’t use the Wiimote speaker
– Sakaguchi says the game is impossible on an HD system due to Nintendo and the Mario Club working with Mistwalker for nine months, which basically added to the development staff
– Elza’s bow gun can be strengthened to increase basic damage
– Different bow types for the gun
– Elza’s arrows for his bow gun are infinite
– Other bow gun ammo starts off at 0 and isn’t infinite (banana included)
