“The Rock Band 3 soundtrack represents the strongest, most diverse collection of music ever assembled for a video game,” said Paul DeGooyer, senior vice president of electronic games, music and programming for MTV Games. “The addition of keyboards and vocal harmonies to the Rock Band platform massively broadens the music selection available to our players. You haven’t sung Queen’s epic “Bohemian Rhapsody” unless you’ve sung the harmony parts – and you can’t do that unless you have Rock Band 3.”

Without further ado, here is the entire, jaw-dropping Rock Band 3 setlist:

This information comes from Epic Mickey creator Warren Spector…

“Yes, I have no interest on working on one offs. I want to do things that have a life beyond me, beyond the team, beyond a single game… I hope there are wasteland games featuring Mickey Mouse and also the Lucky Rabbit for years to come. We’re doing comic books and graphic novels, I want Wasteland to live on beyond this game.”

Obviously we won’t know how Epic Mickey will turn out until it’s released later this year, but I have a really good feeling about the game. Warren Spector has a great track record, so that in itself eases many concerns I’d have if this title was in the hands of another developer. If Epic Mickey lives up to expectations, I’d gladly welcome at least one sequel. Although, hopefully Spector will have a chance one day to work on a Duck Tales project!

– Famitsu reviewers liked the variety of Samus’ moves
– Also enjoyed exploring and fighting aspects
– Difficult game

“The Sense Move lets you move quickly and easily dodge attacks, which make the controls feel really good. You occasionally lose track of where you’re going next, but that in itself is very Metroid-like. Switching to first-person by holding the remote vertically also works surprisingly well. There’s a wide variety of moves available, but Sense Move is by far the best. It allows even casual gamers to enjoy the battles well enough.”

“It’s impressive how many moves are at your disposal, especially considering the lack of buttons. Switching to first-person instantly takes some getting used to, but you can use it in both exploration and combat and it gives the game a very fun Metroid-like vibe.”

“Every map has tons of stuff to interact with, and some of the puzzles can be hard to solve, but the feeling you get when working them out is something else. The bosses work the same way; they all require some sort of trick to defeat.”

“The game’s tough, making you wish for a difficulty selector at times, but the high-tempo action and dramatic story are enough to keep you enthralled.”

“… minion-level enemies respawn” can be debatably annoying.”
