As many Mario fans know, there are two seperate rewards in Super Mario Galaxy. Obtaining 120 Power Stars rewards players with the opportunity to use Luigi. Then, following the Luigi playthough, the Grand Finale Galaxy will be unlocked.

But even though gamers will have to wait until Sunday to experience Mario’s second Galaxy outing, Prima Games has already confirmed what players will earn after finding all of the stars in the sequel:

– Six compousers: Yoko Shimomura, Yasunori Mitsuda, Manami Kiyota, ACE+ sound unit (CHiCO, Tomori Kudo, and Kenji Hiramatsu).
– Dog Ear Records producing the soundtrack (Uematsu’s studio)
– ACE+ and Manami Kiyota asked to contribute to Dog Ear Records
– Manami Kiyota is a singer songwriter (sang opening theme for Glory of Heracles, composed PokePark music), field exploration/event scene song composition in Xenoblade
– Originally, only CHiCO and Tomori Kudo were only with ACE, become ACE+ with Hiramatsu
– CHiCO did N64 Tamagotchi music, Luminous Arc 3 vocal song
– ACE+ did field exploration/event scenes/battle music
– Shimomura composed Xenoblade’s main and opening themes
– Mitsuda composed Xenoblade’s vocal song (for epilogue scene, called Beyond the Sky, lyrics by Takahashi)

Thanks to Asso for the tip!

This information comes from Treasure’s Masato Maegawa, who was the producer for Sin and Punishment: Star Successor…

“We were adjusting the difficulty right up to the end, so I don’t feel that it is too easy at all. I think that the Easy Mode is the perfect difficulty for anybody to be able to play the game to the end without having to give up and that, like with the first game, Hard Mode is so difficult that you may find it impossible to beat.”

Sin and Punishment: Star Success seems like a great challenge for players. It’s also nice that more casual gamers will be able to tackle the game through the easy mode. So everyone should be able to find the right difficulty for themselves!
