Nintendo removing three Sonic games from the Japanese Wii VC at the end of the month

Wii Virtual Console games are disappearing left and right. Nintendo of Europe previously announced seven titles which will be removed on March 31.
Nintendo of Japan is following their lead. According to the company’s website, three Sonic games will be leaving the Wii Shop Channel on March 30: Sonic 1, 2, and Sonic & Knuckles.
Nintendo hasn’t provided a reason as to why they’ll be removing the games.

EB Games destroying Donkey Kong 3D displays

EB Games really, really wants to quell the Donkey Kong 3D rumors. The retailer has asked all stores to destroy the displays for the non-existent game, as well as boxes for Kirby 3D and Luigi’s Mansion 2 for Wii.
When you think about it, it doesn’t make much sense as to why these displays were added to the stores in the first place. At least EB Games/GameStop is looking to move past the situation…
