My Nintendo physical rewards FAQ

A surprise was delivered this week as My Nintendo physical rewards finally arrived in North America. The move comes more than four years after the program launched.

Nintendo’s customer support site has a little bit of extra information about physical rewards as part of its FAQ. We’ve included it below.

What physical items are available now, and what other kinds of physical items will you offer in the future?

How do you get My Nintendo Platinum Points or Gold Points?

My Nintendo members can earn points in all sorts of ways. Platinum Points can be earned by using certain smart device apps or even by simply signing in to Nintendo.com weekly. Gold Points can be earned by purchasing eligible games. For more information, please visit https://my.nintendo.com/.

In which regions can consumers get these items?

These items are currently available to users in the U.S. only.

Will items that are available in other regions also be made available to My Nintendo members in North America?

Different regions make different decisions based on a variety of factors. For the latest information, please visit https://my.nintendo.com/.

Are these items exclusive to My Nintendo members? Can they only be obtained by using My Nintendo Platinum Points?

Physical items offered through the My Nintendo program are exclusive to My Nintendo members and can only be obtained at https://store.nintendo.com/ after redeeming Platinum Points on the My Nintendo website. Shipping charges will apply.
