We finally have news about the next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial for North America, which is Disney Illusion Island.
Members can play through the entire game for free. Additionally, save data is compatible with the full version if they choose to purchase it later. There will likely be a Nintendo eShop sale as well for all Switch owners, but we’re waiting to hear more about that.
Just when you may have thought that all of the major news had surfaced from the Pokemon “Teraleak”, another significant discovery has been shared – this time revealing the prototype for Pokemon Pokopia.
Recently, we heard that Pokemon Pokopia was originally planned for Nintendo Switch 1. It was reported that it was intended to be a spiritual successor to Pokemon: Let’s Go with Pokemon Home connectivity. Something also mentioned was that assets would have been reused from top-down perspective games in the series.
Lovish was previously announced, but it’s now confirmed that the game will debut on consoles as well, including Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. A release is planned for Q1 2026.
Lovish is an 8-bit side-scrolling action adventure game. You’ll be journeying with Sir Solomon through a series of bite-sized rooms, who’s looking to rescue Princess Tsuna from the Devil Lord.

Joystick Ventures and Playworks made it known today that they’re planning StarVaders for Nintendo Switch. The two sides are currently keeping quiet on launch timing.
StarVaders is a roguelike deckbuilder with grid-based tactics battles. In the game, you’ll control a powerful mech as you fight off the alien invasion.

Sobaka Studio will be releasing Kiborg on Nintendo Switch, the developer announced toady. It’s confirmed to launch on December 9, 2025.
Kiborg is a fast-paced action roguelite with brutal, cybernetic-enhanced combat. After landing in prison for a crime you didn’t commit, you’ll enter a reality show in hopes of earning freedom.

Announced today, Laysara: Summit Kingdom will be making an appearance on Nintendo Switch. As of now we’re unsure about launch timing.
Laysara: Summit Kingdom is a city building game. While building settlements that can stretch into the mountains, you’ll need to “plan production chains and satisfy various needs of your three-caste society while dealing with mountain hazards such as weather breakdowns and avalanches.”

Cult Games and In Shambles Studio are planning a Nintendo Switch version of Catto’s Post Office, they’ve announced. It’s due out on December 2, 2025.
Catto’s Post Office is a cozy cat delivery game. During the one-hour adventure, you’ll explore a charming open world, befriend kitty neighbors, and meow whenever you want with a dedicated button.

Today, Funselektor and Strelka Games revealed that they’re putting Over the Hill on Nintendo Switch 2. It will be out following the PC launch next year.
Over the Hill is an ambient off-road exploration game. Funselektor, the studio that previously made Art of Rally, is handling development.
Milano’s Odd Job Collection just received its release date on Nintendo Switch. The game launches on December 9, 2025, XSEED has announced.
That’s not the only bit of news we have. Milano’s Odd Job Collection will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 at a later date, and if you grab the Switch version, you’ll be able to nab an Upgrade Pack for free. The game itself is the first western release of the PlayStation classic, now with with quality-of-life improvements including support for modern resolutions, fully localized English text with dual Japanese and English audio options, save states, a rewind feature, and more.

Bandai Namco has announced that its Pac-Man–based 2D action platformer, Shadow Labyrinth, will receive an 1.1.0 update though no release date has been announced.
