More than three years after it originally came to Nintendo Switch, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition now seems to have a full physical release on the system.
It’s true that there was a boxed version previously. However, with the original physical release, a download was required. Vice City essentially wasn’t on the cartridge – you could land on the startup screen, but after that, you’d get a notice telling you to download the game. There were also downloadable updates for Grand Theft Auto 3 and San Andreas.
August 5: Starting today, Marvelous is kicking off a weekly video series for Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar that will introduce the eligible marriage candidates for Story of Season: Grand Bazaar. New ones will be going live on a regular basis.
Twelve bachelors and bachelorettes are in the game. First up is Sophie, “whose devotion to revitalizing Zephyr Town is as infectious as her smile, get to know her likes, dislikes, and see more of her charming personality on display.”
RedDeerGames and Square Glade Games today provided the release date for Above Snakes. On Nintendo Switch, it will be available on September 4, 2025.

Knights Peak has announced that the thrilling Metroidvania Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is coming to Nintendo Switch on September 4. Already available on other platforms, the Switch version will launch as an enhanced edition, featuring a New Game+ mode and other improvements based on player feedback.
Developed by Primal Game Studio, the action RPG blends a deep narrative with Soulslike and Metroidvania elements. Set in a dark medieval fantasy world, players will traverse lands ravaged by Entropy, face terrifying creatures and formidable bosses, and make impactful moral choices that shape the fate of their world.
A Deluxe Edition will also be released in the same sate, including the game’s original soundtrack, a digital art book, the Shadowpyre and Gildcrest Transmog cosmetic sets, and the Curious Ottliong and Nimble Dieling as pet followers.
Hot Wheels Let’s Race: Ultimate Speed is heading to Nintendo Switch, GameMill and Bamtang Games just announced. The title launches on October 24, 2025.

Developed by 1C Game Studios and published by Fulqrum, Deathless: The Hero’s Quest, originally released for PC, has now been announced for Nintendo Switch. The title will arrive on the console this autumn.
Based on Slavic folklore, the game lets players choose from four characters to explore deadly fairy tales. Along the journey, they’ll collect cards, battle the mythical beasts of Belosvet – a world deeply rooted in Slavic mythology – and work to restore peace to the land.
Dono’s Tale will be appearing on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, Super Item Studios has confirmed. Currently there’s no word on launch timing.
Dono’s Tale, a platformer starring a dinosaur that pays homage to games from the 16 and 32-bit eras, was funded on Kicsktarter a little while back. Well over $10,000 was raised and the funding goal was raised within the campaign’s first 72 hours.

Competitive gaming is bigger than ever these days, and Nintendo of America has now announced a partnership with the Interstate Scholastic Esports Alliance (ISEA) “to make gaming competitions more social, accessible, and rewarding.”
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Splatoon 3 will begin to be used for school-organized tournaments and events for grades 4 through 12 starting this fall. The initiative is expected to reach over 80,000 elementary, middle, and high school students across 23 states. Nintendo of America will be giving “a large quantity” of Nintendo Switch Online memberships and digital game download codes at no cost.
Dunkadillo is in the works for Nintendo Switch, Thomas K. Young revealed today. As of now there’s no word on launch timing.
Dunkadillo is a side-scrolling platformer starring an armadillo who can transform into a basketball. Young previously made the Dadish games and Be Brave Barb.
