New footage of Pokemon X/Y was shown off during the latest episode of Pokemon Smash. It’s been confirmed that players can use a Mega Evolution in combat so long as their opponent also has one available. Mega Evolutions work in that there’s one per trainer, not one per battle.

Precursor Games has put Shadow of the Eternals on hold. The company attempted to raise money through the project through two Kickstarters, but neither campaign met its funding goal.

A message posted on the official Shadow of the Eternals forum from Denis Dyack apparently confirms that the game isn’t dead. Dyack, however, did not say if and when it could return.

Dyack’s message in full reads:

Back in early 2007, a contest was held by the “Morning Rave” show on KDND in Sacramento which gave the participants an opportunity to win a Wii by drinking the most water without going to the bathroom. This was when the console was still tough to find, so people were willing to go to some… odd measures in order to secure one for themselves.

Sadly, the Morning Rave’s “Hold Your Wee For A Wii” contest resulted in a terrible happening. Contestant Jennifer Lea Strange passed away due to water intoxication.

The situation was thought to be over after a jury awarded $16,577,188 damages against KDND. However, we’re now hearing that the radio station may lose its licence.

The Drum reports that the Sacramento Media Group and the Media Action Center intend to file legal challenges with the US Federal Communications Commission prior to November 1 – the official deadline – in hopes of contesting the station’s pending eight-year broadcast license renewal. We should find out about any rulings following this date.

Not many people own this particular version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted, but I must give it my recommendation if you willing to take the time to learn it; it’s pretty darn good as an arcade-y racer. The glitches I cannot be quite as positive about, but I think we had some good fun here either which way! Enjoy. :]
