Resident Evil: Revelations HD is out now in stores, but there’s still plenty to look forward to. Capcom is preparing a number of DLC pieces that are set to launch over the next few months.

The Resistance Set and Enhancement Set, due out on June 4, both include six powerful custom parts. Each is priced at $1.99.

Two new playable characters join Raid Mode on June 11. For $2.99, you can add Rachel Ooze and Lady Hunk to the roster. Regular Rachael and Hunk can be unlocked in Raid Mode without paying extra.

Also on the horizon, Revelations’ pre-order DLC weapons for Jill, Parker and Jessica will go live for all players on June 18. It’s priced at $0.99.

A sizable step in the right direction.

I think, at this point, it’s very difficult to judge a Resident Evil title without comparing it to past entries in the series. It’s almost like Sonic in that respect, constantly trying to reinvent itself with a blend of what people used to like about the franchise and a more modern, trendy aesthetic. With Resident Evil: Revelations on 3DS (2011), Capcom appeared to be making strides towards meshing their two play-styles (survival horror and action-horror) together, and after the critical and commercial success of the game they decided to re-release it in high-definition for Wii U, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.

And honestly, I’m very happy about that.

Nintendo is continuing to showcase Animal Crossing: New Leaf characters through its Facebook page. The latest batch offers a look at Lyle, Blathers, Digby, and Celeste.

You can find a rundown of the second round of New Leaf character content below.

Japanese blogs have been “ablaze” with talk about the Wii U version of Yakuza 1 & 2 HD. There is a thought that it suffers from slightly worse visuals compared to its PlayStation 3 counterpart that came out in Japan last year. Based on images released thus far, the Wii U version seems to possess some slightly jaggier edges, and an overall downgrade – though minor – in graphics.
