Nintendo has filed a fifth extension for the Eternal Darkness IP.
That begs the question: what does the trademark update mean? Well, it could be nothing at all. Given the state of Silicon Knights at the moment, the studio would unlikely be making a new entry in the franchise. The only other way Nintendo could be revisiting Eternal Darkness is if it handed off the IP for another developer… which would also be unlikely at this point.
And so this could simply be a standard trademark move for Nintendo.
The full LEGO City: Undercover website is now open for business. Access it here. As usual, you can find gameplay information, screenshots, and a bit of footage. We’ve compiled all GamePad clips in the video above.

edit2: Yup, back to $10! Sorry about that, folks.
edit: It has been reported by a commenter down below that that game is back to its regular $10 price point. Unfortunately I can’t confirm that myself because I already bought the game so instead of a price tag it just says “Purchased”. Can anyone double-confirm?
There’s a sneaky sale happening on the Wii U eShop at this very moment. Little Inferno can be purchased for just $5. At launch, the game was priced at $15, so this is a pretty big bargain. We’re not sure how long the sale will be in effect for, so buy it cheap while you can!
