Everything that’s been said about New Super Mario Bros. U up to this point has indicated that the game will ship alongside Wii U. But not so fast.

You have have heard Nintendo of America’s Kit Ellis say in this video that the platformer will be available “not too long after launch”. Does that mean it won’t be releasing on day one?

Right now I’m inclined to believe that this was an error. Even the top brass at Nintendo such as Reggie Fils-Aime have talked about the importance of having a brand new Mario when a new console arrives. We’ll have to see how this rumor plays out.

Nintendo of Europe has opened a teaser site for New Super Mario Bros. 2.

Much like the North American page made public earlier this week, it doesn’t have too much to offer just yet. You can take a look at a trailer, screenshots, and a few details.

Visit the site here and keep it bookmarked for the future.

Update: Bumped to the front page. Most people assumed that the tease was in reference to a new game (including myself!), but n-Space told us that they were actually referencing Tron Evolution: Battle Grids for Wii. The studio also said on Facebook that it isn’t working on a new Tron title at this time.

n-Space seems to be working on a video game based on the Trop: Uprising animated television series. An announcement could come as soon as today.

On Facebook, n-Space told fans to stop by the Tron: Uprising panel at Comic-Con today, hinting at a reveal for Wii:

“This would look great on a Wii. Wait a minute…”

“For those heading to San Diego Comic-Con, stop by our panel tomorrow from 2:15-3:15pm in room 6A.”

If there’s any news, we’ll be sure to bring it to you.
