When Red Steel 2 was initially confirmed, one of the first details that were known about the game was that it would take advantage of Wii MotionPlus. Obviously the peripheral is capable of adding great accuracy and precision to a title. Speaking with the Official Nintendo Magazine, the Red Steel 2 Creative Director has provided insight in regards to what it’s like working with MotionPlus.

“It’s incredibly satisfying – really exciting. I’ve been working in games for 12 years and this is the first time that I feel we’re going to give the fans something really cool that they’ve never seen before. And I genuinely mean that. It’s not just marketing bullshit – this is something new that you’ve never done before and it’s really fun. It’s a great feeling to be able to say that.”

Pokemon Sunday is rumored to be making an announcement on May 10th. Fans are predicting that remakes of Pokemon Gold and Silver are in development since gold/silver party balls could be seen in a preview, though nothing is confirmed at this point. Meanwhile, both Coro Coro and Nintendo Dream plan on revealing a new title in their next issues. All of this put together most likely means that some huge Pokemon news will be shared in a few days.

The latest edition of EDGE may be teasing some Pikmin news. The “next month” page of the latest issue apparently features a zoomed in picture of an empty patch of grass. In the top right-hand corner, however, there is a small blue lilac blob which is said to resemble a Pikmin. Some have gone as far as to claim that the next issue will reveal Pikmin 3. Though, we’ll have to wait and see if this is truly Pikmin related or if it’s an entirely different game.
