The first two episodes of Pokemon Generations are now online. We’ve included both below.
Pokemon Generations was announced earlier this week. All episodes revisit generations of Pokemon games, and will be 3-5 minutes long each.
Yesterday, some misinformation about Pokemon GO Plus was clarified. Nintendo said previously that it wouldn’t keep track of distance traveled, but we know that the function is actually built in.
Now we have news about another feature which wasn’t originally expected to be included. You can catch new Pokemon, which we didn’t think would be possible before. Pokemon GO Plus will flash yellow to show that you’ve come across a new monster.
For those in Australia, you can now take advantage of two new discounts on My Nintendo. Both were added in today.
Discounts for both HarmoKnight and Pocket Card Jockey are 20 percent off, with both requiring 200 Platinum Points. The two expire on December 16.
In August, Bandai Namco said that the developers of Dragon Ball: Fusions were planning free updates for the game. We now have a few more details about what’s in store.
In the first update due sometime this fall, Fusions will be adding online play. Players can go online with friends and random people, trade, and look up leaderboards.
We had also previously heard about a new stage on the way. This is known as “Jikuukan Radar”, which will be able to pick up on Wi-Fi so long as the feature is turned on through your actual 3DS. Characters to battle will appear here, and you’ll be able to make friends with some rare ones.
As this week draws to a close, we’re starting to hear about Nintendo’s maintenance plans for next week. To start things out, Wii U and 3DS will be impacted for about an hour on Monday / Tuesday (online play, rankings, etc.).
Here are the relevant times:
– 5 PM PT (September 15) – 6 PM PT (September 15)
– 8 PM ET (September 15) – 9 PM ET (September 15)
– 1 AM in the UK (September 16) – 2 AM in the UK (September 16)
– 2 AM in Europe (September 16) – 3 AM in Europe (September 16)
Update (9/16): Bumped to the top. The same theme can now be acquired in Europe.
Original (9/15): A new reward can now be obtained through My Nintendo in North America. For 100 Platinum Points, you can nab a Yo-kai Watch 2 theme featuring Jibanyan. Get the reward here.
Thanks to Steven B for the tip.
