Renegade Kid would still be interested in making another Dementium

Renegade Kid’s stance on Dementium hasn’t changed over the past few months. If they were presented with an opportunity to develop another game in the series, co-founder Jools Watsham says the studio would do so “in a heartbeat.”
There’s one important issue that still remains – SouthPeak owns the IP. It’s completely up to the publisher if and when a new Dementium gets made, and so far there hasn’t been any progress in this area.
Jools Watsham wrote on Twitter yesterday:
“The continuation of Dementium relies on SouthPeak’s desire and funds, not ours. We would develop a new Dementium in a heartbeat.”
Watsham has previously said that Renegade Kid has been thinking about creating an original first-person shooter for the eShop. Although it would be a digital release, there would be plans to make the game like a full-fledged retail product.
