Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie final trailer

Paramount Pictures has gone live with a final trailer for its upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie. This comes ahead of the film’s debut next month.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 takes place immediately after the first movie from 2020. Dr. Robotnik is up to his nefarious ways, and enlists the help of Knuckles the Echidna for revenge on Sonic. Meanwhile, Sonic teams up with Miles “Tails” Prower – who makes his debut – with the two going off on a search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations and prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 stars James Marsden, Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Adam Pally, and Jim Carrey returning. New additions include Shemar Moore, Idris Elba as the voice of Knuckles, and Colleen O’Shaughnessey as the voice of Tails.

There’s even more to come for this franchise in the future. Last month, a Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie and new series based on Knuckles were announced.
The Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie arrives on April 8, 2022.
