Bulb Boy

A new update is starting to make its way out for Bulb Boy. It’s only live in Europe at the moment, but it’s expected “very soon” in North America and Japan.

As far as what the patch does, we’re aware of a couple of changes currently. First, the home menu icon has been updated to what’s pictured above. Also, in one scene, additional icons indicate that you can use two characters at the same time. Hidden bug fixes are also implemented.

After a few delays, Bulb Boy will begin to join the Switch eShop on Thursday starting with North America (and other regions to follow). Watch some early footage below.

Bulb Boy was originally thought to be coming to the European Switch eShop on June 20. Then it looked like the game would be available on June 29. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen either.

At least in North America, Bulb Boy is now arriving this week. This is based on what’s relayed through the official Twitter account as well as the eShop.

Note that Bulb Boy will be a 808MB download.

Bulb Boy was originally scheduled to hit the European Switch eShop on Thursday. Something happened along the way, as it’s now planned for June 29 instead. Fortunately, it’s not a massive delay – just a small one.

A new game has been discovered on the Switch eShop. It seems Bulbware’s Bulb Boy, a horror puzzle adventure, will launch on Switch months ahead of the other platforms.

French website JeGeekJePlay has reported it to launch on June 20 for a price of €7.99 / £7.19 according to a photo of the eShop itself. Furthermore, Nintendo Life has published that it will release this summer in all regions, so we suppose that previous date applies to North America as well.

Here’s the official Switch trailer, so you can see for yourselves how the game looks.
