Ittle Dew’s European release is just on the horizon. Creator Joel Nyström, writing on Twitter, mentioned that the game has now passed through certification. That means a release date will be shared in the near future.

Nyström said:

Ittle Dew is already available on the North American Wii U eShop. It launched in May.

Do you live in Europe? Are you registered on Club Nintendo? Then perhaps you’ll soon receive a free Halloween 3DS theme code.

Nintendo started sending out codes for the “Spooky Black Cat” theme today. Check your email, as a message with the code may arrive soon!

Here’s the full email:

Update: Here’s what Yacht Club says about the eShop listing:

The European Wii U eShop has apparently dated several games for Europe.

First up, Shovel Knight will apparently launch on November 6 for €14.99. Yacht Club Games previously confirmed that the game would be launching in Europe and Australia next month, but a specific date wasn’t shared.

Also due out on November 6 is the eShop version of Disney Infinity 2.0. Wii U owners will be able to purchase the title for €29.99.

Last but not least, Picross e5 is slated for November 11 (with a €5.00 price point).

Note that while these dates are likely accurate, they have not been officially announced.

Over in Europe, Nintendo registered a new trademark for Virtual Boy. It just entered the database today.

Along with Virtual Boy, Nintendo also registered Polarium. You may remember that Polarium came to Europe back in 2005 as a DS release.

We can’t be entirely sure what these trademark registrations mean, but I assume that Nintendo is simply brushing up on protective filings for some of its older products.

Thanks to snow for the tip.
