After talk of retiring with the original release of Fantasian on Apple Arcade in 2021, Hironobu Sakaguchi, previously of Square Enix’s golden age of RPGs, has decided that he’s not quite ready to stop doing what he loves. As a joint project between his studio, Mistwalker, and Square Enix, Sakaguchi’s latest effort brings us Fantasian Neo Dimension – an enhanced full release of the RPG. While the game was already seeing acclaim on mobile, this new version takes it to new platforms with improved features, making the experience more accessible than ever. The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending November 30, 2024 is now available.

No new releases keeps things relatively quiet. However, games like Super Mario Party Jamboree, Nintendo Switch Sports, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are in the top ten. EA Sports FC 25 is the overall top seller.

Square Enix just gave a release date for Fantasian Neo Dimension. The title launches for Switch on December 5, 2024.

You may remember that Fantasian Neo Dimension was revealed for Switch during a Nintendo Direct earlier in the year. The game, which was originally released by Mistwalker on Apple Arcade, is now getting an upgraded version for consoles.

Fantasian Neo Dimension coming to Switch

Fantasian, the well-received RPG from Mistwalker, has just been announced for release on Switch as Fantasian Neo Dimension. Square Enix will be publishing in Winter 2024.

Fantasian has been locked to Apple Arcade since 2021. The game was written and produced by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of Final Fantasy. Nobuo Uematsu, known for his work on Final Fantasy as well, composed the soundtrack. As for Mistwalker, the studio previously worked on The Last Story for Wii, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, and more.
