Nintendo has announced the 2013 Japanese Club Nintendo Platinum rewards. Members who reached the status this year will receive a download code for Advance Wars: Day of Ruin as well as a calender.

Advance Wars’ inclusion as a reward is particularly noteworthy. Nintendo never released Days of Ruin in Japan, but is now doing so through Club Nintendo.

Platinum members can download the title as a DSiWare title starting today. Nintendo will also allow all Japanese Club Nintendo users to pick up Advance Wars: Days of Ruin for 800 points beginning in May 2014.

Two new Virtual Console games are on track for the Japanese Wii U eShop next week. Clock Tower (Super Famicom) and Donkey Kong 3(Famicom) will be out on November 6. Pricing is set at 800 yen and 500 yen respectively.

Two new games have been confirmed for the Japanese 3DS Virtual Console. Shining Force II (Game Gear) and Mega Man V (Game Boy) will be out on November 6. Pricing is set at 500 yen and 400 yen respectively.

Magi: The Kingdom of Magic has been dated for Japan. Namco Bandai will publish the 3DS game on February 13. Pricing is set at 5,980 yen.

Jump has revealed a new downloadable quest for Monster Hunter 4 which provides players with a Tony Tony Chopper costume and weapons for their Felyne. The quest will be available starting on November 4. Jump also suggests that further Monster Hunter 4 collaborations with One Piece could be on the way.

Pokemon X/Y will be gaining new O-Powers in Japan, thanks to the various Pokemon Centers.

Between November 16 and December 13, players can obtain Capture Power, Bargain Power and Prize Money Powers. Each one is set at level 3.

Also, between December 14 and January 11, Pokemon Centers will be providing Capture Power, EXP. Point Power and Hatching Power. Once again, the each one maintains level 3.

As promised, Nintendo has aired a Nintendo Direct for Band Brothers P. Below are a collection of details shared during the presentation:

– Vocaloid Iwata is introducing us to the game. Moving over to Polygon Iwata.
– Control options include buttons and using the touchscreen as guitar or drums. Introducing us to various instruments.
– The game can be enjoyed over local and online play.
– Like previously mentioned, you can make a vocaloid singer. This will allow you to simulate singing and play another special touchscreen version.
– The SD card can save up to 3000 songs and you use tomatoes to download songs.
– Just like the previous game, there are radio studios which you can listen to with fav songs. Genres now as well.
– Up to January 31, it is possible to import songs from the Deluxe version. Does require some information though.
– Songs can be uploaded to YouTube, so that people with portable devices can look at them.
– Circling through the four featured artists. They seem excited about it.
