Picross S+

Today, Jupiter announced that it’s developing Picross S+, which will combine all of the past entries in the 3DS lineup into a single package for Switch.

With the closure of the 3DS eShop, there’s currently no way for new players to experience the Picross e games. This is what the upcoming Switch edition is looking to remedy.

Logiart Grimoire

Jupiter – known for its series of Picross games – has announced Logiart Grimoire, its latest puzzle experience. The title will land on Switch in 2024.

Logiart Grimoire combines world puzzles and number puzzles for a new type of experience. The game will feature a story, nearly 300 puzzles, and more.

Picross future

Jupiter has supported Nintendo platforms with multiple Picross games, and it sounds like the company will be present with whatever is coming next as far as the Switch successor is concerned.

In an interview with VGC, the company’s Norichika Meguro said that Picross “will certainly be coming to the new hardware down the road, so please look forward to it.” No further plans were shared, but it’s possible nothing concrete is in development – of course, Nintendo hasn’t unveiled a new console just yet.

Picross S9 gameplay

A new round of gameplay has emerged for Picross S9. Earlier in the week, Jupiter continued the puzzle series on Switch with its latest entry.

Jupiter is bringing Picross S9 to Switch, the company just announced. It will be available on April 27, 2023.

The puzzle series continues on Switch, this time with a new “Rewind Puzzle” feature. Jupiter says it’s “a handy feature for when you notice inconsistencies while you’re solving a puzzle.”

Picross X: Picbits vs Uzboross gameplay

Picross X: Picbits vs Uzboross has received a new batch of gameplay. After it initially appeared in Japan, the title saw a worldwide release in other regions a few days ago.

Here’s the official eShop description with more details:

Original (10/3): Picross X: Picbits vs Uzboross originally launched in Japan last August, but unlike Jupiter’s Picross S games, it didn’t receive a worldwide release. It seems Jupiter is now rectifying this, as players in Europe and North America will be able to enjoy the title when it releases in the West this November.

Picross X: Picbits vs Uzboross is a more involved version of Jupiter’s Picross S titles, containing more customization options and wackier game modes. The game will also feature a co-op mode, which all Picross S games were recently updated with.

Picross S8 gameplay

Picross S8, the latest entry in Jupiter’s puzzle series, landed on Switch this week and gameplay is available. Fans can even get a look at the game’s multiplayer functionality.

Learn more about Picross S8 in the following overview:

Following the announcement of Picross S8, which will launch on Switch eShop next week on September 29, Jupiter have announced today that previous titles in the Picross series will receive software updates for touch screen support and 4-player simultaneous play on Switch.

Picross S8 release date

Jupiter today announced the release date for Picross S8. The latest addition to the puzzle series will be available worldwide on September 29, 2022.

Picross S8 lets four users play together on a single Switch system for something that’s a bit different than merely experiencing things alone.
