Pokemon Scarlet

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are now offering another distribution, this time for the Pokemon: Paldean Winds animated web series that kicked off earlier today.

The Cetitan here comes in at level 50 with the Thick Fat / Slush Rush Ability. It also has the moves Body Slam, Amnesia, Ice Spinner, and Double-Edge. The distribution does not include a held item.

Pokemon: Paldean Winds episode 1

The first episode has come out for the Pokemon: Paldean Winds animated web series. This ties in with the previously-released Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet on Switch.

For those that missed out on the original announcement, the show follows academy students Ohara, Aliquis, and Hohma as they go on a journey of growth and learning. Before the arrival of a certain transfer student, three students at an academy in Paldea are tasked with making a video showcasing their school. The first episode shows Ohara, who is a skilled flutist, but she’s feeling under pressure due to an upcoming concert. She’s also trying to help with the video, but it just isn’t going right so she runs away to Glaseado Mountain, under the pretext of doing the academy’s Treasure Hunt activity.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet DLC leak

New leaks for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have started to come online, and thus far big news is floating around regarding a new Pokemon form and a new creature entirely. Twitter users Kaphotics and ElChicoEevee have been sharing information on social media. If you’re looking to be left in the dark or are waiting for official announcements, keep that in mind before proceeding below.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet Poltchageist

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have just unveiled a new Pokemon, with Poltchageist being added to the games. It’s both a Grass and Ghost type.

Poltchageist will be introduced in the first DLC wave for the titles, The Teal Mask. News about the Pokemon was shared in a video just published by The Pokemon Company. Other information is likely to follow soon as often we’ll see an initial reveal followed by a more formal announcement with an in-game trailer (update: see overview below).

Yet another trailer has debuted for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, this time showing new moves, a new Tera Type, and the return of some familiar creatures. The video is dubbed “Many Surprises Await in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero”.

The trailer confirms that for The Indigo Disk, a bunch of partner Pokemon are making a return, from Squirtle to Litten. A number of new moves are showcased as well including Thunderclap. As for the new Tera Type, that tease comes in at the very end.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet Gastrodon distribution World Championships

In celebration of the 2023 Pokemon World Champions, a new distribution is now available for Gastrodon. This was originally used by Eduardo Cunha, who won last year’s event.

The Gastrodon here comes in at level 50. It has a Calm Nature, the Storm Drain Ability, and Leftovers as a held item. Its moves are Earth Power, Icy Wind, Yawn, and Protect.

Wiglett plush Pokemon Scarlet Violet

Wiglett is making waves in the news cycle again as a new plush for the creature, which was first introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, is coming soon.

The new plush is a Pokemon Center original. It comes in at roughly 10.25 inches tall and 4.25 inches wide. According to the description, it features a bendable body for custom poses. It also has soft fabric and embroidered details. All told it weighs 3.3 oz.

Dipplin, Archaludon, Raging Bolt, Iron Crown

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have revealed a new set of Pokemon for their upcoming DLC, with Dipplinm, Archaludon, Raging Bolt, and Iron Crown joining the fray.

Dipplin is the evolution of Applin that will appear in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask. Meanwhile, Archaludon is the evolution of Duraludon found in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk. Read more about both below.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet Tera Raid

Original (8/7): Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are set to receive a new Mewtwo Tera Raid Battle event, according to a Thai Japanese Nintendo newsletter. Details are likely to follow during tomorrow’s Pokemon Presents.

Pokemon Paldean Winds

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are getting a new online animated series dubbed Pokemon: Paldean Winds, it’s been announced.

The series “brings the Paldea region to life in an all-new way.” Viewers will see academy students Ohara, Aliquis, and Hohma “on their journey of growth and learning while attending school.”

Pokemon: Paldean Winds will debut on the official Pokemon YouTube channel starting September 6, 2023. We’ll be sure to share the episodes as they are released.
