The Grisaia Trilogy

According to retailer listings, The Grisaia Trilogy will be out for Switch in Japan on November 7. Pricing is set at 7,776 yen.

The Grisaia Trilogy features The Fruit of Grisia, The Labyrinth of Grisaia and its “After Story,” “The Cocoon of Caprice,” and “Shot Short Scenario” stories, The Eden of Grisaia and its “The Seed of Blanc Aile” and “Prologue” stories, and the side episodes The Leisure of Grisaia, The Afterglow of Grisaia, and The Melody of Grisaia. In other words, there’s a whole lot of visual novel content to go through here.

Clannad will end up receiving a physical version in the west after all. Limited Run Games and Sekai Games are teaming up with the game’s developers to make the release possible.

According to Sekai, a collector’s edition will be offered that “will mirror the first print release from the original Japanese PC release.” This will be the first time Clannad will be sold physically on a console in English.

Pre-orders will be opening soon, so stay tuned for news about that.

The Switch has been getting quite a few otome visual novel games, especially in Japan, and that doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. Publisher Prototype announced today that Taishou x Alice: All in One will be released on Nintendo Switch in Japan on April 18. This is a collection of all four Taishou x Alice games: Taishou x Alice Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3 and Epilogue. The Switch version comes with additional images as well as an in-game version of a drama CD that was bundled with a previous release of the game.

So far, only a Japanese release has been confirmed. Only Episode 1 has previously received an English translation, so it seems unlikely that this full collection will be released in the West.
