MLB announces R.B.I. Baseball 18 sale, patch updates ‘coming soon’

MLB announced today R.B.I. Baseball 18 currently 30% off on the Switch eShop, selling for $20.99. The sale ends July 30. The game will be receiving a patch “soon.” The patch notes for the Switch version are below:
– Fix for Free Agents or Legends disappearing after overwriting Franchise rosters
– Fix for save data corruption
– Additional bug fixes and optimizations

R.B.I. Baseball 18 dated for Switch

It was confirmed today that R.B.I. Baseball 18 was approved by Nintendo and will be released digitally for Switch in the US on June 14. Europe and Japan will also be getting digital releases the following week, with a retail release sometime after.

Earlier today, it was announced R.B.I. Baseball 18’s release on the Switch would be delayed until later this Spring. Per the tweet below, we now have confirmation the game is due for release in April.
We’ve seen a lot of questions regarding release dates. We can confirm that iOS is releasing next week and that Nintendo Switch and Android are releasing in April. We will continue to keep you updated when we have more details. pic.twitter.com/9TcT4sMXfQ

R.B.I. Baseball 17 came to Switch a few months after the console’s last year. R.B.I. Baseball 18 was announced today, and this time around, it’ll be out on Switch the same day as other platforms.
The only confirmed information we have at present is that R.B.I. Baseball 18 is slated for March, and Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor will star on the cover. We also have the announcement trailer below.
