While searching for the latest information about the Resident Evil Revelations games for Switch, which are due out for the console this month, we found an interesting article from Japanese outlet Inside Games. The site went hands-on with both Resident Evil Revelations and its sequel at the Tokyo Game Show a couple of months ago. Along with its own impressions, Inside Games also spoke with Capcom representatives. What it all amounts to is some information about the frame rate, resolution, controls, and more that we hadn’t known previously.

Capcom has unveiled a new aspect regarding the Switch versions of Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 on Switch. Both titles will have original mini-games built in.

In Resident Evil Revelations, players can take on Ghost Ship Panic. This is a shooter in which you aim for a high score and earn BP to use in Raid Mode. It’s accessible on the initial load screen.

For Resident Evil Revelations 2, Capcom is including Ghouls ‘n Homunculi. Here you’ll explore a deadly island as Barry Button, which is a tribute to Ghouls ‘n Ghosts. You can also go for the high score here and earn rewards for Raid Mode.

New York Comic-Con begins today and runs through the weekend. Resident Evil Revelations Collection is due out on November 28 for Switch.

First up, Resident Evil Revelations requires 13GB of free space. Resident Evil Revelations 2 doubles that at 26GB. With the second game, since it won’t fit within Switch’s internal memory, a separate microSD card will be needed if you intend to purchase the game.
