Ubisoft releases 3.1GB update for South Park: The Fractured But Whole on Switch

Ubisoft will officially launch South Park: The Fractured But Whole for Switch on Tuesday. But some folks have the game early, and we’re hearing that a big update has been issued.
The patch is significant, weighing in at 3.1GB. Unfortunately though, we don’t have the specifics of what the update entails at this time. The good news is that, even without the patch, South Park: The Fractured But Whole is completely playable on Switch.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole launches for Switch on Tuesday, but Ubisoft hasn’t actually posted any gameplay videos of it running on the system. We at least have some lengthy gameplay now thanks to Xiphos Gaming. Check out 27 minutes of footage below.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is just a week away from its launch on Switch. The game finally has a listing added to the eShop, showing the file size. It’ll take up 14.1GB of space.
The file size for South Park on Switch is slightly lower compared to other platforms. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were about 18GB each.

Ubisoft’s South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a game that has sort of been rumored for Switch. It’s been listed by a couple of retailers, though ones we haven’t been entirely confident in.
Another listing for South Park: The Fractured But Whole on Switch has now popped up over on Amazon Mexico. It still doesn’t mean that this is absolutely happening, but it’s becoming tougher to ignore the initial speculation.
