New Splatoon 3 amiibo revealed

July 19: On social media, Nintendo just announced two new Splatoon 3 amiibo sets, due for release in Japan on September 5. No Western release has currently been announced by Nintendo’s Western accounts but will no doubt be forthcoming. The Side Order Set will contain figures of Pearl and Marina, and the Alterna Set is for Callie and Marie.
We actually received some information about the existence of these amiibo in a datamine some time ago, although this didn’t completely confirm their existence.

Splatoon 3 – Splatfest #18 results – Bread vs. Rice vs. Pasta

We’ve got the results of the latest Splatfest in Splatoon 3, which was Bread vs. Rice vs. Pasta. Nintendo asked that if you could eat one of these every day, which would you go for?
Based on the halftime results, it seemed that things couldn’t be much closer. For clout, Team Pasta barely had the lead with 33.72 percent. Team Rice was in second at 33.45 percent, with Team Bread carrying a respectable 32.83 percent.

July 17: Nintendo is gearing up for the latest Splatfest in Splatoon 3, which will be held next month.
For the latest theme, players are asked which food from Bread, Rice, and Pasta that they’d be able to eat every day.

Nintendo vacating team Jackpot’s win for Splatoon 3 World Championship

After recent controversy, Nintendo will no longer be recognizing the win team Jackpot had in the 2024 Splatoon 3 World Championship.
The company put out a statement on social media which mentions that some members of team Jackpot “acted in a manner that is not in line with our Community Guidelines”. Due to this, their win will be voided and they won’t be getting trophies either. Nintendo will also adjust the Splatoon 3 Splashtag banner that was released with a future patch.

Splatoon 3 update announced (version 8.1.0), patch notes

The next big update is coming to Splatoon 3 in the form of version 8.1.0.
With the update, Nintendo says it’s focusing on “multiplayer balance and comfort of gameplay.” The game has received another big round of weapon adjustments plus “changes to prevent unintended signals from being sent in certain situations, changes to alleviate the issue of scattered weapons and gear blocking sight, and changes to stabilize the display when an opponent is at the edge of a height difference.” Also, as expected, there are a bunch of bug fixes.

Splatoon 3 – Splatfest #17 results – Palace vs. Theme Park vs. Beach

Nintendo just posted the results for Splatfest #17 in Splatoon 3, which was Palace vs. Theme Park vs. Beach. The theme this time asked players which venue they would reserve for a day.
When we were at halftime, it showed that it was pretty much up to any team to win. It was practically a three way split – Team Palace at 32.56 percent, Team Theme Park at 33.86 percent, and Team Beach at 33.58 percent.

Splatoon 3 + Expansion Pass boxed release announced for Japan

June 19: Nintendo has announced a new boxed release for Splatoon 3 in Japan, specifically titled Splatoon 3 + Expansion Pass. It will be available on July 18, 2024.
The main game and all DLC content will be included. Additionally, a three-month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online is packed in, which is needed for online play.

Triumvirate boss guide in Splatoon 3 Salmon Run

The Triumvirate is a new King Salmonid challenge introduced alongside Splatoon 3’s Big Big Run event. Like the other King Salmonid battles, the Triumvirate has a chance of appearing at the end of Wave 3 if your King Salmonid meter is full. When it appears, you’ll need to take on a Cohozuna, Horroboros, and Megalodontia all at once. This is one of Splatoon 3’s greatest challenges, and we’ve written up a Triumvirate guide with all of the best strategies and tips for taking down all three King Salmonids in one go. When the Triumvirate appears, you will be given a random Grizzco weapon, which means there’s a certain element of randomness to winning the battle.

Splatoon 3 is gearing up for its next big update, which will be version 8.0.0. Nintendo just posted the patch notes.
The next update rings in the Sizzle Season 2024 for Splatoon 3. There’s a lot of new content in store between new weapons, the Lemuria Hub, new catalog, and new Tableturf Battle cards. That’s along with lots of changes and fixes.
