Best Friend Forever, Starcolt’s simulation game that combines pet care and dating, debuts on Switch today. Have a look at some footage below.

Best Friend Forever

Starcolt has released a new gameplay trailer for Best Friend Forever, the simulation game about dog-care and dating (those two aspects are separate, of course). We’ve included it below.

Best Friend Forever launches for Switch via the eShop on August 27.

Previously slated for a June 18th release, Best Friend Forever was recently delayed. Luckily, a new release date has been announced, and the game will be launching in just a couple of months on August 27th, 2020. Take a look at the overview for the game via Nintendo’s eShop listing:

Alliance and Starcolt are delaying Best Friend Forever for a second time. Originally, the simulation title was scheduled for May 14. It was later moved to June 18. It’s now been pushed back again, and though we don’t have a new release date, the wait isn’t expected to be terribly long.

Starcolt wrote in an official blog post:

The simulation game Best Friend Forever was originally due out on May 14. Like many things though, it’s been impacted by the coronavirus, and the title has been delayed. We’ll now be seeing the game on May 14.
