Hades

There’s still some major functionality planned for Hades, Supergiant Games’ rogue-like dungeon crawler. Prior to launch, it was announced that cross-saves would be supported between Switch and PC. The feature ended up being delayed until after release. We last heard that it was planned for October, but it looks like that won’t be happening.

Supergiant provided an update today and said the team is “still actively working on this feature and trying to get the important details of it right.” Unfortunately, there’s no word on when it’ll be ready.

The full statement reads:

The latest episode of Nintendo Minute has gone live. In today’s video, Kit and Krysta are joined by Supergiant Games to rank the characters of Hades. Check out the full episode below.

Hades

Supergiant Games has confirmed that it has issued a new update for Hades on Switch. The patch “addresses a rare issue reported by some players where save data was not loading properly, plus several other minor fixes and improvements.”

We also have a bit of news regarding a more substantial update for Hades. You may recall that Supergiant decided to implement cross-save functionality later on so that the game’s launch wouldn’t be delayed. Fortunately, it seems that it’s not too far off, as the studio now says that the feature should be ready “sometime in October.”

Hades is available now for Switch via the eShop.

Hades was previously announced to be getting cross-save on Switch. Although that’s still the case, it’ll be coming a bit later on.

Supergiant Games said today that the team “encountered some setbacks in the final testing of this feature.” The functionality will now be added later on to avoid a delay of the title’s proper launch.

Hades

Supergiant has announced its latest game for Switch. Hades, a god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler, is coming to the console this fall. Cross-saves with the PC version will be supported.

Here’s an overview of Hades, along with a trailer:

Previously released on the eShop Transistor, is going physical. It was announced during Limited Run Games’ press conference today that pre-orders open on July 5.

Not too long ago, Supergiant Games brought over a couple of its older games to Switch. Bastion and Transistor can both be found on the eShop. Pyre, however, is missing in action. Why is that?

Supergiant writer and designer Greg Kasavin explained the situation with USgamer. The team appreciates the fan interest in Pyre on Switch, but a port isn’t a simple task. Supergiant is instead putting all of its effort into Hades, the company’s next true game.

Transistor

On Thursday, Supergiant Games will be bringing Transistor to the Switch eShop. Have a look at some footage below.
