3DS update version 7.2.0-17 is now available.

Primarily, the firmware affects parental controls. Users can now register an email address with parental controls, and those who do so can send an email to themselves if the PIN is forgotten.

Aside from this, the 3DS’ stability and usability has been improved as well.

Nintendo has released a new firmware update for Wii U.

Version 4.1.0 is a bit of a small upgrade. Nintendo says that the new firmware improves system stability and usability – no additional features have been added.

A new system update is now available for the 3DS. Just like the upgraded Wii U firmware released earlier this week, version 7.1.0-16 improves the handheld’s stability. Other minor adjustments have been made as well.

Nintendo has released a new update for Wii U, bringing the firmware up to version 4.0.3. It’s primarily intended to improve system stability (as well as software compatibility).

3DS owners can now download a small update for the system. Version 7.1.0-15 makes “Further improvements to overall system stability” and provides “other minor adjustments” to the “user experience,” Nintendo has confirmed. Note that you’ll need the latest firmware in order to access the eShop.
