Twisted Fusion

Hex Heroes isn’t the only indie Wii U title to have reached its funding goal on Kickstarter. Twisted Fusion hit its own £3,000 goal target a little while ago.

If you’re interested in donating, you can still do so here. Six days remain in the campaign!

With Leuvision’s Kickstarter for Twisted Fusion launching today, we caught up with creator Lewis Pugh to talk a bit more about the game.

Pugh shared more details about the Wii U eShop-exclusive, including a Kid Icarus-like difficulty system, additional weapons, enemies, and importance of the Kickstarter campaign. He also discussed the possibility of bringing Leuvision’s mobile titles to Wii U and working with the Nintendo Web Framework.

Head past the break for our mini interview!

Leuvision has opened a Kickstarter for Twisted Fusion, and it can be accessed right here. The goal is very much attainable having been set at £3,000. Leuvision will have until April 30 to hit its target.

Twisted Fusion, a new open-world action platformer coming from one-man developer Leuvision, is heading to the Wii U eShop.

Twisted Fusion stars Cora, a girl who is stranded on a new world with strange creatures. She’s trying to find her way home, but an enemy shrouded in darkness won’t make things easy.

The game features a day/night system and weather system. Furthermore, environments change based on what the time of day/weather is.

Bigger enemies will appear at night. Also, enemies become much angrier when it’s raining. Cora will wield dual water pistols to take down foes.

“The whole world is connected without level select, but you don’t need to backtrack to progress,” creator Lewis Pugh told NintendoWorldReport. “Certain areas of the game can also be completed out of order.”

Twisted Fusion will be available in Q4 2014.
