Asfalia: The Cranky Volcano and Panic at the Mansion coming to Nintendo Switch

Funtomata, the studio behind the Asfalia series, has just announced that two titles from the franchise are coming to the Nintendo Switch next month. Asfalia: The Cranky Volcano and Asfalia: Panic at the Mansion will launch on the console on October 30.
There’s a note for Nintendo Switch 2 owners: Asfalia: Panic at the Mansion is currently not compatible with the Switch 2, while The Cranky Volcano will be playable on both consoles.
The developer also confirmed that demo versions of the games will be available on the Nintendo eShop starting October 2.
Asfalia: The Cranky Volcano and Asfalia: Panic at the Mansion were originally released on Steam as Asfalia: Anger and Asfalia: Fear. Their names and key artwork were recently updated to better reflect their nature as family-friendly narrative adventures. The story and gameplay remain unchanged.

Developed by 1C Game Studios and published by Fulqrum, Deathless: The Hero Quest has just been given a release date for Nintendo Switch. The game is set to arrive on the console on October 16.
This title offers a fantastical reinterpretation of Slavic folklore. Players will choose from one of four heroes and venture through deadly fairy tales that will challenge their wits, and likely cost them their lives more than once.

Nintendo will soon be expanding its store presence to Europe for the very first time. Following its permanent locations in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto in Japan, as well as New York and San Francisco in the United States, the company is now bringing a temporary shop to London, UK.
The Nintendo Pop-Up Store London will be located on the ground floor of Westfield London in Shepherd’s Bush (Ariel Way, Shepherd’s Bush W12 7GF). Fans can look forward to a selection of exclusive items typically only sold at the company’s permanent Japanese stores.

Publisher V Publishing and developer Tlon Industries announced today that their survival adventure game Kentum now has a release date on Nintendo Switch. The title will be available on November 6, 2025.
Kentum is described as a “2D craftervania adventure”. Players take on the role of a clone who must survive, explore, and rebuild civilization with the help of a quirky robot companion.

META Publishing has announced the release date for its latest title, Biped 2. The sequel to the award-winning game, which was named Indie Game of the Year at Game Connection 2025, will arrive on Nintendo Switch on November 5.
The new entry expands on the multiplayer experience, introducing online and local co-op for up to four players for the very first time. Players can also look forward to brand new robots, missions, stunning new biomes, and customization features.

Super Evil Megacorp has announced a major update for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, going live next week on September 30.

Devolver Digital has announced that its newest title, Skate Story, will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in 2025. While a specific release date has not been confirmed, the game is officially on the way to Nintendo’s platform.
Developed solely by Sam Eng, Skate Story tells the tale of a glass demon forced to skate through the Underworld after making a deal with the devil. To break free from this pact, you’ll need to ride your board across nine layers of Hell, face off against massive bosses, and ultimately consume the Moon itself.
