Brave x Junction Nintendo Switch western release put on hold, flagged for content involving children

Brave x Junction’s North American and European Nintendo Switch releases have been indefinitely put on hold due to possibly containing “legally problematic sexual content involving children.” This is despite already being released in Japan, and on other platforms in the west on its original release date of October 9, 2025.
Developer Rideon announced this delay shortly before the game’s initial launch but hadn’t expanded on it up until recently. Oh the company’s X account, a series of images made to look like screen grabs from the title were posted.

Direct for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie happening on November 12

Nintendo has just announced that a direct for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will premiere on November 12. The upcoming presentation is set to feature the first full trailer for the film. Note that there will be no game news here.

Shoot ’em up Changeable Guardian Estique making its way to Nintendo Switch

Amata Games and Cat Hui Trading have announced that they’ll be bringing Changeable Guardian Estique to Nintendo Switch. The title is planned for release sometime in 2026.
Changeable Guardian Esticque is a side-scrolling robot shoot ’em up that released for the NES and Famicom just last year. This new port will include both versions of the games, as well as a new gallery mode.

Nintendo has just released an official Nintendo Store App. iOS and Android users should be seeing the app in their respective app stores.
The application allows users to browse and purchase Nintendo products from the Nintendo eShop and the Official Nintendo website, synced through your Nintendo Account. On top of that, you can review your play activity in specifics, redeem platinum points for My Nintendo rewards, and check in at Nintendo stores and events for platinum points.

Elminage Original: Priestess of Darkness and The Ring of the Gods is making its way to Nintendo Switch as announced by Mobius Inc. The game is set to release in Japan on April 26, 2026.
Elminage ORIGINAL – Priestess of Darkness and The Ring of the Gods is a dungeon crawling RPG that originally released on the PS2 in 2008. The title’s most recent rerelease was in 2017 on PC via steam. Japan will also be receiving a physical edition, with additional graphics planned via DLC.
