Kogado Studio

Kogado Studio has just announced that two games in the Tristia series, Tristia of the Deep-Blue Sea: Legacy and Tristia: Restore, will be making their way to Switch.

The first of these, Tristia of the Deep-Blue Sea: Legacy, is a remaster of the 2002 PC original, Tristia of the Deep-Blue Sea. It’s a town-management simulation game in which you must rebuild the titular town of Tristia that was brought to ruin by a dragon attack several years prior. You do so by building a variety of tools and gadgets which you then sell back to the people of Tristia.

Yumeutsutsu Re:Master and Re:After

Limited Run Games has announced that it will offer a new physical version of Yumeutsutsu Re:Master and Yumeutsutsu Re:After on Switch in the west.

Both titles previously came to the console in April 2020. A physical version was offered in Asia with English support, but we never saw a boxed copy in North America or Europe. That changes now thanks to Limited Run Games.

Kogado Studio today announced Star Melody: Yumemi Dreamer, an upcoming rhythm adventure game. A release is planned for this fall on Switch and other platforms.

Details are light at the moment. However, we do have confirmation that English will be supported. Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese will be the other language options.

Here’s a trailer published today as part of the Tokyo Game Show:

Several retailer listings have confirmed that the Yumeutsutsu Re:Master Bundle Pack will launch on April 23 in Japan. The pack contains both the original Yumeutsutsu Re:Master game as well as the so-called Yumeutsutsu Re:After fan disc, which contains additional stories that show what happened to each character after the ending. This will also be the first time the Switch version of the game will be available physically.

Originally, the visual novel was supposed to be released in the West, but we haven’t had any news on that front since the initial announcement in October 2018.
