Nintendo has opened the official Japanese website for Mario Tennis Open. You can access the page here.

The site has brought along a slew of new details, which you can find below.

– Tournament, Free Competition and Special Game modes
– Tournament: eight cups, singles and doubles
– Free Competition: choose your opponent, court, set count, etc.
– Special Games: different play types such as Super Mario Tennis, as shown in a trailer/footage previously
– Other special games: Ring Shot (hit the ball through rings), Galaxy Shot (avoid holes in the court)
– Both of these games have also been shown previously
– Customize Mii with special rackets, clothes, wrist bands, shoes and more
– Over 200 items for customization
– Unlock items as you play matches
– Local and Internet play
– StreetPass supported
– Exchange Miis through StreetPass
