This sure came out of the blue.
On its Twitter account, Nintendo of America revealed that two new DSi color variations are coming to North America. Matte Red and Matte Blue will be available at retailers as early as this week.
These colors appear to be for the original DSi only. In other words, they don’t apply to the DSi XL.

Famitsu doesn’t have a final release date for Fantasy Life, but the magazine does have a release month in this week’s issue. Level-5 will publish Brownie Brown’s new 3DS game in December.
It’s unclear if Famitsu has any additional coverage of Fantasy Life this week. More tidbits may make their way out later today or tomorrow.

The game is due out in Japan on November 22. It’ll cost 5,990 yen on the 3DS and 6,990 yen on the PlayStation 3.
Capcom has yet to announce a western release for E.X. Troopers.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 totals coins across all save slots
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
New Super Mario Bros. 2 offers three save files. But if you decide to share the game with someone else through one of these slots, keep in mind that it tracks the coin total across all saves.
So it’s like this: if you amass 500,000 coins in your slot and a family member nabs another 500,000, the overall coin total will come in at 1,000,000.
Some may see this is a bad thing since you can’t accomplish the one million coins goal on an individual save. On the other hand, gamers tend to keep/play handheld titles for themselves, so it won’t be much of an issue in most cases.

Longtime programmer discusses N64, GameCube experiences

Munkyfun’s Cory Bloyd knows his video game hardware. He’s a longtime programmer who has been involved with hardware introduced nearly two decades ago, up through consoles we’re playing today.
Some of Bloyd’s experience includes the N64 and GameCube, though he didn’t work with the latter system too much. In any case, you can take a look at his comments below, which include lots of technical talk – just as you’d expect!
